My name is Nato Lomidze. As the Founder and General Director of Niavi Consulting, I combine sustainability expertise with more than two decades of experience in strategic planning, analytics and product development. My work focuses on green finance, taxonomy alignment and energy assessments across the buildings, energy, cross-cutting and FOLU sectors, supported by GHG Management Institute certifications in IPCC cross-cutting, energy and FOLU modules. In recent years, I have collaborated with financial institutions, development partners and private sector companies to deliver mitigation assessments and guide the adoption of Georgian and EU Taxonomy principles.

 

As a certified EDGE Expert (EE-GEO-250327-2834), I have guided several major commercial developments in Georgia through the certification process, all of which successfully achieved EDGE Advance.

​My sustainability work is reinforced by certifications from the UNFCCC, where I am qualified to review National Communications of Annex I countries and to carry out technical analysis of Biennial Update Reports (BURs) for non-Annex I countries. As a mitigation and cross-cutting expert, I have contributed to international review missions, including assessments for São Tomé and Príncipe, Singapore and Suriname under TA-26.

Before transitioning into the sustainability sector, I built over 22 years of experience in Georgia’s telecommunications industry. At Geocell and Silknet, I led major initiatives in product development and management, analytics, CRM and customer segmentation. My technical background and involvement in large-scale corporate projects established the strong analytical and leadership foundation that now drives my work in green finance, project feasibility and sustainability consulting.
